Why insulation matters in Ontario
Everybody's wish is a comfortable home and reduced energy bills, and spray foam insulation is the most effective way to get there. It has become the best means of insulating attics, crawl spaces, roofs and walls, call (289) 212-0143 today for a free estimate.
Types of Spray Foam Insulation
Spray foam insulation is produced from chemicals mixed with gas. When mixed, it expands to about 20 times its liquid volume, reaching tight corners and hard-to-reach areas and creating an airtight seal that is moisture resistant, air resistant and soundproofing.
Open-Cell Foam Insulation
Open-cell foam is generally less costly than closed-cell and is used to insulate interior parts of a building, including for reducing outdoor noise. Its cells are not entirely closed, so the foam is porous, softer and lighter, typically 0.4 to 0.5 lbs per cubic foot. Open-cell insulation is not recommended for outdoor use.
Closed-Cell Foam Insulation
Closed-cell foam is an air barrier and water-resistant material that can be installed anywhere in a building. Its sealed cells contain a gas that gives the foam superior insulating ability and density, 1.7 to 2.0 lbs per cubic foot for insulation applications. We install both types for residential, commercial and agricultural use. Curious about pricing? See our spray foam cost guide.

Insulation FAQ
Is spray foam a good fit for Ontario buildings?
Yes. Spray foam insulates and air seals in one application, which is what a Ontario building needs across both heating and cooling season.
How much does insulation cost?
It depends on the material, the depth your project needs and the area covered. Every estimate is free, written and itemized before any work begins.
Can you insulate an existing building?
Yes. Retrofit work is most of what we do: old material comes out where needed, air leaks get sealed, and the new insulation goes in at a measured depth.
Will insulation help reduce energy loss?
A continuous air seal cuts the leakage that drives most heating and cooling loss, so sealed buildings hold their temperature with less equipment run time.
How long does installation take?
Most residential projects are done in a single day. Larger or multi-area projects are quoted with a schedule up front.
